Google +1 Button Social Sharing Similar To Facebook Like

Google’s answer to the Facebook “Like” button is finally here — the “+1″ button. Although the product lacks the ability to share information like Facebook or even Twitter and other social networks, but being integrated with the worlds largest search engine gives it an advantage which all others lack. Without being present on any site, the +1 is part of every site that Google indexes. As Google calls it, +1 is a “public stamp of approval.” Whenever you +1 something, your name gets linked to that content which is shown publicly as your recommendation.

Google today announced the launch of a new feature for Google searching results. The new feature is called “+1″ button, a desperate attempt by Google to answer popular Facebook’s “like” button and gain some space in social networking game after big flops like Orkut and Buzz.

As I mentioned earlier, + 1 (plus one) Button is the Google version of Facebook “like” button. This +1 button will soon appear next to links on Google’s search results page. By clicking the button your will recommend content right from the search results pages.



The + 1 is tightly integrated to Google Profiles , so you must have a public Google profile (promoting) and your +1 ratings will be posted to your profile. If anyone in the network of your Google friends searches on a similar topic will be shown those recommended results, among the usual search results, flagged with a note advising that a friend has “+1′d” it.

“The beauty of +1′s is their relevance — you get the right recommendations (because they come from people who matter to you), at the right time (when you are actually looking for information about that topic) and in the right format (your search results),” explains Google.

Blogger introduce Different views to present your content


Blogger now offers you the ability to present your content in several new and exciting ways.

These dynamic views will work on your blog if all of the following are true:


  • Your blog is public. Your readers don’t need to sign in to view your blog.


  • Your blog has feeds fully enabled. In the Settings | Site feed tab, you have enabled either Full or Jump Break for your Post Feed.


  • You have not disabled dynamic views. In the Setting | Formatting tab, the option for Enable Dynamic Views is set to Yes.




    • If any of the above conditions are not true, users who attempt to access dynamic views for your blog will instead be taken to a landing page and redirected to your original blog in a few seconds.
    If all of the above conditions are true, your readers can access the dynamic views for your blog by simply appending /view to the URL.

    Tweet RSS Feeds of Your Blog Automatically

    So, even if you prefer to schedule your post, you don’t have to remember to tweet the latest article. The article will automatically get tweet with the help of Twitter Feed. The process is very easy and simple to add your blog’s RSS feed to Twitter feed.
    Here are the simple steps which you need to follow to use Twitter Feed:

    1.Go to Twitter Feed website and signup for the account. You can sign up easily with your exciting mail account.

    2.Once you are logged in, you can add the RSS feed to your twitter profile.
    3.Enter the name of the feed and RSS feed URL of the blog. Check out the image for reference.

    FIR Against Facebook for Insulting Hindu Gods

    It seems filing frivolous FIRs against Facebook is the favourite pastime of the people of Uttar Pradesh. Not long after the last FIR from Lucknow against Facebook for an anti-Gandhi group, comes another one aimed at the social networking website; this time for "instigating communal passions" and denigrating Indian gods.



    "EVERY HINDU MUST SHARE THIS POST ON HIS/HER PROFILE"




    An FIR was filed in Meerut against the social networking website by a social activist alleging that a Facebook profile lampoons Indian gods with an image



    of the deities titled ''3 idiots'. Apparently, the profile is one amongst a spate of profiles poking fun at Islam and Hinduism as a part of ongoing online war between the proponents of the religions.



    The FIR cites section 66 A of the Information Technology Act 2000, and expresses fears about the profile causing riots all over India. The creator of the profile has reportedly said that the profile will not be taken down unless similar profiles parodying Islam are taken down. Well, it looks like we have a Mexican standoff between religious fanboys over here. Even if this does lead to rioting, this won't be the first time Facebook has achieved the feat.

     

    The very anonymity and freedom of speech provided by the Internet makes such pages inevitable. It's therefore wiser not to feed the trolls, instead of taxing our already strained resources on wild goose chases.  Facebook too isn't too eager to please our conservative Indian sensibilities, especially because the western civilisation is rooted deeply in their respect for freedom of speech; even when it comes to lampooning religion.

    Need For Speed "Shift 2 Unleashed"



    Hey y’all! Great news for GAMERS…Guess what???

    I will just break it to you, the most awaited game of the year SHIFT 2: UNLEASHED is scheduled for release on 29 March 2011.

    You are probably wondering why i didn’t add Need For Speed title before the game title, that’s because the company dropped it. But dont worry the game is still in the NEED FOR SPEED family itself.

    After the commercial success of the “Need For Speed : Shift”, the franchise is all set to release it’s 17th game in the “Need For Speed” series. “Shift 2: Unleashed” is the sequel to the 2009 release Need For Speed: Shift game which was recorded the as commercial hit. This game is developed by Slightly Mad Studios and published by Electronic Arts (EA). This game will be featuring the gameplay and other features introduced to the original. The car list of the Shift 2 will be having 145 cars in this game and this is the first to feature more than 100 cars and approx number is 145 cars from 36 different manufacturers. This game will feature 35 different tracks too. EA is so confident that this game will redefine the racing simulator genre and they are promising that this game will give the most realistic real racing ever.
    Coming to the game play of the game this game will be having more features expanded gameplay than the original version. EA has announced that this game will be containing 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship and FIA GT3 European Championship among lots of other racing content, as well as several new tracks, including legendary circuits such as Bathurst and Suzuka. Additional features in this game are night racing, an in-helmet camera view and the autolog feature that has been in Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. And other features like new physics engine, elite handling model and more control over the controls like sensitivity, deadzones, steering etc.

    Display your "Google Adsense" Income in your own currency


    This article is useful only to the Adsense Publishers because its not a option available by the Google Adsense team but its a browser trick which will allow you to show your current Adsense revenue in the your own currency as shown in the left Screenshot.

    I have showed in INDIAN CURRENCY because am from INDIA  and you can change according to your currency .... so here is it how it goes

    To get started you need to install the Google Chrome browser in your computer and then install this Chrome Extension – ‘Chrome Currency Converter‘ under the extensions panel and Enable it. That’s it now whatever website you access will display all the USD Amounts converted to the current rate of Indian Rupees.

    Download & Installation:
    Installing this extension is quite similar to installation of any other Chrome extension. You can download the Chrome Currency Converter extension from Google Chrome Gallery here.


     If you are using Google Chrome then it easy process for the installation but if you have download the extension using Firefox or any other browser then you need to open the .crx file with Google Chrome and then it would be installed in Google Chrome. Its better to download directly in Google Chrome and I would also recommend that process.
     
     You can popup the mini Chrome Currency Converter by pressing ALT+SHIFT+CTRL+C at anytime in any page in Google Chrome browser. This is how popup window will appear on the extreme top right side of your screen.

    The currency rates which are listed in Chrome Currency Converter are provided by Pathfinder Stocks and European Central Bank. You also have option of formatting your numerical digits with decimal operator and thousand separator with the symbols that you want. Many other options are also available in the settings of this Google Chrome Extension.

    Orkut Introduce Like Feature

    The Orkut blog just announced that they have added a new “like” button in Orkut that will help you quickly react to your friends’ stories through smileys.
    Unlike Facebook where pressing the Like button mostly means that you have really liked the story, Orkut’s implementation of the Like feature is much more complex (and ugly) offering users a whole range of emotions.
